Humanitarian Movement like Anuvrat is the Need of the Hour - Dr. Manmohan Singh 26 May 2022 New Delhi. Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, was presented the Anuvrat Award by Anuvrat Vishwa Bharati today. 90 years old Dr. Singh while accepting the award said that the purpose with which Acharya Tulsi started the Anuvrat movement in the year 1949 has become even more relevant today. With these values only the overall development of the country is possible. Dr. Singh said that I have always been influenced by the Anuvrat philosophy and have been interested in joining it. Today, in the form of this award, I have got an opportunity to join the Anuvrat movement. I consider it my privilege. अणुव्रत जैसे मानवतावादी आंदोलन की आज अहम् आवश्यकता- डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह 26 मई, 2022 नई दिल्ली। भारत के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह को आज अणुव्रत विश्व भारती द्वारा अणुव्रत पुरस्कार प्रदान किया। 90 वर्षीय डॉ. सिंह ने पुरस्कार स्वीकार करते हुए कहा आचार्य तुलसी ने जिस उद्देश्य से सन् 1949 में अणुव्रत आंदोलन की शुरूआत की थी वह आज और भी अधिक प्रासंगिक हो गया है। इन्हीं मूल्यों से देश का समग्र विकास संभव है। डॉ. सिंह ने कहा कि मैं अणुव्रत दर्शन से सदैव प्रभावित रहा हूं और इससे जुड़ने के प्रति रूचिशील रहा हूं। आज इस पुरस्कार के रूप में मुझे अणुव्रत आंदोलन से जुड़ने का मौका मिला है इसे मैं अपना सौभाग्य मानता हूं। डॉ. सिंह ने आचार्य महाश्रमण द्वारा दुनिया में मानवीय मूल्यों के उत्थान के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए उन्हें महान संत बताया और अपनी अभ्यर्थना व्यक्त की। उन्होंगे आगे कहा कि मुझे अनेक पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए हैं लेकिन अणुव्रत जैसे मानवतावदी आंदोलन द्वारा दिया गया यह सम्मान मेरे लिए विशेष महत्व रखता है। इस अवसर पर डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह की धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती गुरशरण कौर भी मौजूद थ...
